Sometime two years ago, actor Ben Affleck was seen sporting a huge phoenix tattoo on his back. While people were talking about his ink work, the actor was quick to dismiss it as fake and something he needed for a film role.
At the weekend, the actor was once again seen with the colorful bird when he hit the beach.
Fans were quick to ridicule his ink work and branded it as a “midlife crisis tattoo.”
One Twitter user wrote, “When you realize the back tattoo is real and Ben Affleck was lying when he said it was for a movie.” Another user tweeted, “Ben Affleck’s back tattoo is, and I’m saying this without hyperbole, one of the funniest god***n things I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Holy moly. What a wonderful gift to all of us this is. Truly a great day to be alive because of this obscenely dumb tattoo.”
Back then, the 45-year-old actor downplayed his tattoo while speaking with Extra and claimed that it is “for a movie.”
While bashers made fun of his ink work, other netizens were simply enjoying the photos.
